Welcome back, Saints, for the 2021-2022 school year! Starting Sunday, 8/22, we are back to our academic hours:

  • Monday – Thursday 7:30 AM – 10 PM
  • Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Saturday: Closed
  • Sunday: 3 – 10 PM

We look forward to helping you navigate researching and resources in the new school year!

Summer Hours Starting

Finals are over and summer is here! The library’s summer staff hours will be starting on Monday, 5/10, and are as follows:

  • Monday – Thursday: 9 AM – 5 PM
  • Friday: 9 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Closed Saturday and Sunday
  • Masks, social distancing, and temperature checks at the door will still be required.

Hours for Fall 2014 Pre-Finals and Finals:

  • Monday 12/1 – Thursday 12/4 –
    7:30 am- 12 am
  • Friday 12/5 – 7:30 am – 4:30 pm
  • Saturday 12/6 – 9 am – 2 pm
  • Sunday 12/7 – 3 pm – 10 pm
  • Monday 12/8-Thursday 12/11 –
    7:45 am – 12 am
  • Friday 12/12 – 7:30 am – 4:30 pm
  • Saturday 12/13 – 9 am – 2 pm (Resume Normal Hours)
  • Tuesday 12/23 – 7:30 am – 3 pm
  • Wednesday 12/24 – Thursday 1/1 –
    Closed

New Library Hours!

The LaVerne & Dorothy Brown Library will now be opening at 7:30 am CST Monday through Friday. We hope this earlier time will be beneficial to the USF community.  Please let us know if you have any questions.  Have a great day!
New Hours:
  • Monday – Thursday: 7:30 a.m. – 10 p.m.
  • Friday: 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • Saturday: 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
  • Sunday: 3 p.m. – 10 p.m. (Closed Sundays during the summer).

The library will have extended hours before and during finals week. The extended hours will be:

Monday 4/22 – 7:45 a.m. – Midnight
Tuesday 4/23 – 7:45 a.m. – Midnight
Wednesday 4/24 – 7:45 a.m. – Midnight
Thursday 4/25 – 7:45 a.m. – Midnight
Friday 4/26 – 7:45 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Saturday 4/27 – 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Sunday 4/28 – 3 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Monday 4/29 – 7:45 a.m. – Midnight
Tuesday 4/30 – 7:45 a.m. – Midnight
Wednesday 5/1 – 7:45 a.m. – Midnight
Thursday 5/2 – 7:45 a.m. – Midnight
Friday 5/3 – 7:45 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Saturday 5/4 – 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Sunday 5/5 – Closed*

*The library will be closed on Sundays during the summer.
