I-Share Borrowing Policy

The new I-Share Borrowing Policy will go into effect on Thursday, January 5, 2012.

When a patron has any one of the following, they will be blocked from performing additional I-Share remote requests, I-Share onsite checkouts or I-Share renewal transactions until the blocking condition has been resolved:

  • 25 I-Share items overdue
  • 1 I-Share item recalled and overdue
  • 3 I-Share items lost
  • 10 claims returned on I-Share items
  • 10 I-Share items self-shelved (returned to the shelf without discharge)
  • $200 total owed in I-Share fines or fees

What this means is that any member of the University of St. Francis community who has one or more of the above conditions for any materials borrowed from ANY I-Share libraries will automatically be blocked from borrowing more materials from other I-Share libraries.
